    2. Assemble and Fry the Spring Rolls

Follow the same steps to assemble and deep fry the spring rolls as in the previous recipes.
With these ingredients, you’ll have delicious Crispy Spring Rolls with a flavorful and protein-rich filling. Enjoy your spring rolls with your favorite dipping sauce!

TIPS

Filling Temperature: When preparing the filling, make sure to cook it thoroughly, especially the chicken and eggs. Ensuring that all ingredients are properly cooked adds flavor and safety to the dish.

Noodles (Optional): If you’re including noodles in the recipe, cook them until they’re just tender and then cool them down. Overcooked noodles can become mushy.

Wrapper Handling: Don’t over-soak the spring roll wrapper. Dip it briefly in water, so it’s pliable but not too soft. If it’s too soft, it can be challenging to work with.

Oil Temperature: When deep-frying the spring rolls, maintain the oil at the right temperature (around 350°F or 180°C). This ensures that the spring rolls cook evenly and aren’t too greasy.

Sealing Paste: Use the sealing paste to securely seal the spring rolls. This prevents the filling from spilling out during frying.

Frying Time: Fry the spring rolls until they are golden brown and crispy. This usually takes about 4-5 minutes. Test one spring roll first to determine the right frying time.

Dipping Sauce: Serve the spring rolls with your preferred dipping sauce, such as sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, or hoisin sauce.

These tips will help you make delicious and crispy Spring Rolls.

DIPPING SOUCE

Sweet Chili Sauce: This is a classic and versatile dipping sauce that adds a perfect balance of sweetness and heat.

Soy Sauce with Chopped Green Onion Ginger : A simple yet flavorful option. You can enhance soy sauce by adding chopped green onions and a bit of fresh ginger for a zesty touch.

Hoisin Sauce: Hoisin sauce has a rich, sweet, and slightly tangy flavor that goes well with the savory filling of the spring rolls.

Peanut Sauce: A creamy peanut sauce with a hint of spiciness can be a delicious accompaniment to spring rolls, providing a nice contrast to the crispy texture.

Sriracha Mayo: If you enjoy some creaminess and spiciness, you can mix sriracha sauce with mayonnaise for a tasty dip.

Sweet and Sour Sauce: This sauce adds a delightful blend of sweet and tangy flavors that pairs nicely with the savory spring rolls.

Feel free to choose the dipping sauce that best suits your personal taste. You can even serve a variety of sauces to cater to different preferences among your guests.

NOTE

This recipe should make approximately 24 to 30 spring rolls.

Preparation Time:

  • Preparing the filling: 15-20 minutes (including chopping and cooking)
  • Assembling the spring rolls: 20-30 minutes (this can be faster with practice)
  • Making the sealing paste: 5 minutes

Cooking Time:

  • Deep frying the spring rolls: Approximately 4-5 minutes per batch (frying time may vary based on the size and temperature of your fryer or pan)
